L'CHAIM - Unboxing Israel

L’CHAIM

To life
play video
When raising our wine glasses at the holiday table or cocktails at the buzziest bar in town, we Israelis don’t say “Cheers” or “Health” – we say “L’Chaim!” (literally “To life!”). For Israelis, life means family, and family comes first. That’s why in Israel, it may feel like we’re all family—from the taxi driver asking you about your personal life to a businessperson who invites a colleague visiting from abroad to Friday night dinner at his or her home.

In Israel, we see life as a gift and a celebration — we value it, live it to the fullest, and are always looking for ways to make it better.

SPONTANEOUS VIBRANT POSITIVE HAPPY WARM ENERGETIC OPTIMISTIC

Israelis are optimistic, happy, and warm — sometimes even crossing boundaries with their questions, curiosity, and lack of personal space.

Israelis celebrate life and love to get together and enjoy each other’s company. We have a strong work ethic, but also know how to let loose and party all night long!

Much of Israeli innovation centers on health and saving lives, including organizations that provide medical aid abroad, as well as startups working on IVF technologies, solutions for people with chronic illnesses, and more.

In Israel, family and community come first, and Israelis go above and beyond to extend a welcoming hand to people who could use a friendly face and perhaps even a warm embrace. You are never alone in Israel!
